Passion Fruit Cake


INGREDIENTS:

  • Wheat flour - 500g
  • Sugar - 300g
  • Butter - 300g
  • Egg - 8 units
  • SAS passion fruit pulp – 150g
  • Baking powder – 5g

PREPARATION:
Grease and dust a pan. Separate the egg whites and set aside. In a bowl stir the egg yolks with the sugar until a white and foamy mix is obtained, add the butter (previously softened) and SAS passion fruit pulp. Gradually add the flour (previously sifted) with baking powder and mixing gently until a homogeneous mix is obtained. 

Aside stir the egg whites until firm snow peaks are formed. Add to the mixture by mixing gently with enveloping movements. Pour into greased and floured pan and take it to the oven at 180 °C for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes to unmold. Let cool completely, decorate.
