Mango Pie


INGREDIENTS:

For the crust:
  • Wheat flour - 250g
  • Butter -100g 
  • Baking powder - 10 g baking
  • Warm milk - 20 ml
  • Sugar - 1 pinch 
  • Salt - 1 pinch
For the filling:
  • SAS Mango pulp - 460g
  • Unflavored gelatin – 30g
  • Water - 100ml
  • Cream - 200g
  • Sugar - 250g 
  • SAS lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Egg whites - 2 units

PREPARATION:

Crust: Mix the flour with the butter, baking powder, milk, sugar, and salt. Knead everything well and cover with in a uniform layer of dough the base and walls of a pie pan. Take it to the freezer for 15 min and then bake at 180 ° C (350 ° F ) for 20 min in a preheated oven. 

Filling: mix SAS Mango pulp with cream, sugar, lemon juice, and melted and hydrated gelatin. Stir the egg whites until stiff peaks are formed and add to the mixture in stirring motion. Finally fill the mold with the mixture of cold pie and refrigerate.
